ABOUT RESOURCE WELL
Welcome to the Resource Well
The Resource Well is a place for you to find and share workplace health and wellness information in Canada. You will find useful links to both organizational and personal health and wellness-related web-based resources including articles, posters, fact sheets, research reports, and websites. Although resources that are suggested for inclusion are reviewed, the Resource Well is intended for information and referral only. Inclusion of a resource does not imply endorsement by the supporters of this site.
Why bookmark the Resource Well?
There are many advantages to using the Resource Well. You will find many useful features as the Resource Well:
- Compiles resources in one place to save you time and effort searching elsewhere;
- Organizes resources in a list, easily navigated by major topics;
- Spotlights key workplace health and wellness information sources;
- Selects resources from a variety of sources including credible national, provincial and local agencies, and non-profit organizations; and,
- Encourages your feedback and suggestions for added resources.
How are the resources selected?
Resources are reviewed and selected by staff of the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS). CCOHS is the Workplace Health affiliate of the Canadian Health Network (CHN) and is responsible for selecting resources and developing content for CHN's Workplace Health section. Resources are also recommended by Resource Well users who want to share resources they've found to be useful and relevant.
How can you submit resources?
The Resource Well does not present an exhaustive list of the workplace health information available. If you would like to recommend a resource to add to the Resource Well, please let us know by contacting us. Complete the online form and submit.
Important to Note: To be included, resources must be appropriate, reliable and up-to-date, from organizations that are known for their credibility. No promotional or commercial material will be included. Generally Canadian material is emphasized, although important resources from other countries are included.
